2017 Sunshine In My Pocket 2 Summer Invitational (CSU: Fullerton, CA), August 5, 2017

SPAR – SPAR Rules & Speaking TIme  /  Congress – Congress Bills (4 Total)
Strong results from a small squad, half of whom were at their first tournament. Congratulations to Avery Ngo, winning first place in SPAR and Congresss. Melanie Neller wins second place in Congress, which is also her very first tournament – nice job! Lavanya Gupta made it to all the way to the finals in Congress as well. 🙂 Adyson (Addy) Ngo won first place in Original Narrative and in the non-fiction writing contest. Elise Ngo earned third place in the middle school non-fiction writing contest. Jenny Park was unable to atend the tournament, but still managed to earn first place in the Original Narrative Video contest. Brian Park was a finalist in both the Original Narrative Video contest and the non-fiction writing contest (he also was unable to attend the tournament in person).
A very impressive start to the new season! 🙂
